Why me?

I’m Kate — a photographer based in New York, working with individuals, couples, families, and anyone who wants photos that actually feel like them.

I know what it’s like to freeze the moment a camera appears — to suddenly forget you have hands, and that you’re supposed to do something with them. To skip photos altogether because you don’t have the right look, the right makeup, the right version of yourself ready.

I know what it’s like to think a photoshoot is expensive — and then spend that same money on things that left no trace. I have no photos from my teenage years. None from university. Even now, I sometimes feel too awkward to ask someone to take a picture of me.

That’s why I started Seen by Kate.
Because you were always worth the frame. You just needed someone to see it.
